
Jack Gau
Mr. Gau has worked extensively in the electrical, software, and computer science arts, and has experience with a wide array of technologies, such as automotive systems and components; semiconductor fabrication, manufacturing, testing, and programming; and a variety of software-oriented applications, such as data processing, data transfer and communications, file management, and information security.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Gau worked as a product engineer developing test methodologies for semiconductor final test. Mr. Gau’s practice is primarily focused on preparation and prosecution of U.S. patent applications. Mr. Gau has considerable experience with technical writing, as well as advising foreign counsel on related aspects of preparation and prosecution. Mr. Gau also provides legal opinions including infringement, validity, and patentability of inventive concepts. Mr. Gau speaks Mandarin.
